Collaboration between France and Japan

The International Laboratory Partnership (LIA) «Chiral Nanostructures for Photonic Applications» (CNPA) was launched on October 2, 2015. This LIA fits into the scope of the France-Japan collaboration and concerns the design, synthesis and characterization of hybrid chiral nanostructures for applications such as light management, sensors, chiral separation and chiral catalysis. This new LIA is the fruit of over 15 years of collaboration between the University of Kumamoto, the University of Kyoto and the University of Bordeaux’s CBMN (Chemistry and Biology of Membranes and Nano-objects), Bordeaux INP (National Polytechnic Institute) and the CNRS (French National Scientific Research Center).
