Antoine Souron is a paleontologist specialized in Suidae (pig family). He joined the PACEA team in October 2015, recruited as a Cluster Bordeaux Archaeological Sciences Junior Chair. His work focuses on the long-term evolution of the Suidae family. His primary study site is the Shungura Formation in the Omo river basin in Ethiopia.
